Our new house

Our new house in Lilburn, GA. No longer Snellville-ians. :)

Our backyard. It will probably look more appealing once spring has sprung and things green up!

Our foyer. That's our front staircase, a closet, and the open door is the 1/2 bath.

When you come in the front door, this room is immediately to your left. The living room!

Our front staircase. The room to the right of it is the dining room.

A look at the front door from the family room.

The family room. Built-in bookshelves and wood paneling...anyone have ideas on what to do with that?

Kitchen. Wallpaper has now been removed. (Thanks Doug!) Through that window is our screened-in porch. Oh yeah, and we have ordered new countertops which should be installed within a couple of weeks!

More of the kitchen. Also, we have a new stainless steel oven and microwave now. Plus, our stainless steel fridge will replace that one that was left behind (which will become our garage fridge!)

Our dining room. Doug has a lot more wallpaper removal in his future. ;) Maybe Clayton will actually be able to help him this time! Plan on getting a new chandelier also. That open door leads back into the kitchen.

Picture taken from our bonus room of the rear staircase that leads down to the kitchen.

Our bonus room upstairs where my washer and dryer are!! Hooray for not having to lug clothes baskets up and down the stairs anymore! :)

A view of the other side of the bonus room.

Darcy and Chloe's room. They love the flowery border at the top of the room. Someday that will come down too, but for now we'll leave it!

Kevin's room. Leaving it blue for now, but someday we will repaint.

The upstairs bathroom for the kiddos.

Brady's room.

Master bedroom. We will replace the valances! Can't see it from this pic, but there is a trey ceiling in here that looks nice.

Master walk-in closet. Mirrored doors on the outside!

Master vanity with 2, count 'em, 2 sinks!!

Showing Mom our new master bathroom!

Skylight in the master bathroom.

View of the backyard from the master bathroom tub.

Our screened-in porch off of the kitchen.

The back of the house.

Next to our hosue is the Rivermist Homeowner's Association Park. It's a small nature trail that leads to the river where there is a waterfall.

November 2009

Grandpa Johnson always makes the kiddos laugh. Chloe is always saying, "He's funny."
Grandma Johnson bought some beautiful flowers for our yard, and had some help planting them! Thanks Grandma, Kevin and Darcy!
Taking a walk together in the cul-de-sac.

We got to celebrate Grandma's birthday with her. She had plenty of help opening presents!

Brady and Mom hanging out!

Kevin had to decorate a turkey for his classroom and his family was supposed to help. So here's what we all came up with! Pretty fancy turkey!

Chloe loves her little bro.

Darcy's kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving play. Darcy did such a great job! She played a turkey and had to say "Gobble gobble gobble" again and again! She had no trouble memorizing her lines! :) She's in the bottom row second from the right.

Proud to be the little brother!

This is what happens when you live in a place that actually has autumn/fall! But the kids don't seem to mind that Daddy had to rake a bunch of leaves!

Ready for church.

We went to Warner Robins, Georgia to visit Grandma and Grandpa Stenner's new house for Thanksgiving this year! Nathan was there too! We did our traditional visit to Lane Packing Company, ate lunch, played on the playground and bought peach bread! Yummy!

Darcy can get Grandpa to do anything for her! She demanded he build a fort, and just to make sure he knew who was boss, she made him wear a girlie cowboy hat while building it!
My white t-shirt and jeans boys, hanging out together. So sweet!

And of course here's Brady, in his happy place! We can't travel anywhere without our swing!
Darcy loves dressing up at Grandma's house. She has the best outfits ever!
Nathan and Brady, bonding.
Playing at Grandma's. Chloe is obviously comfortable at Grandma's since she has no problem being pantsless there!

Sitting on Grandpa is the best!
Mama cooking in her new kitchen while Kelly and Nathan mess around taking pictures. Sorry we weren't actually helping you Mom!
Did I mention that dressing up is fun at Grandma's? This little old lady is sure having a good time. :)

Where's Kevin? Did you look in front of the big screen where the Wii is? Oh yeah, found him!
Nathan doesn't want anyone to know that he likes to play with dolls, so keep his secret, ok? Thanks!
Our Decorated Christmas Tree! The kids really loved doing a lot of it this year! Hooray!
