Washington, DC trip!

We had so much fun with Mom and Dad up in DC over Memorial Day weekend. Restaurants, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, White House, baseball games, playing outside, etc... We can't wait to do it all again in a couple of weeks over the Fourth of July!! Here's the pics:

View of the Washington Monument from the WWII Memorial.

Putting our feet in the WWII Memorial fountain. Probably weren't supposed to, but everyone else was doing it, plus it was a really hot day!
Washington Monument

Cousins having fun together despite the heat!

The Mall/Reflecting Pool behind us, and Lincoln Memorial behind that.

The White House

Darcy having fun with Play-Doh at Grandma's house.

Kevin playing the Wii. I'm surprised he could tear his eyes away from the screen for the picture!

Mom and Chloe taking a short walk together.

Chloe had to go into timeout in this corner a couple of times while at Grandma's house, so I caught her putting this baby doll into timeout. Funny!

After we left Grandma's house, we stopped by Virginia Beach on our way home. This is the kids before we went and played in the ocean, but I didn't get any ocean pictures. Bad Mommy...I know!

What We've Been Up To

Whew, it's been a while since I posted last! We've stayed very busy even though it's now summer. Here's some pictures from the rest of April and May with a little June sprinkled in! I'll do a separate posting with our Washington DC trip pictures!!
Darcy with her preschool teachers at the End-of-the-Year show.

Darcy's preschool teacher also came to her Little Gym show, which Darcy loved!

Face painting at some free kids activities near home.

Kevin's Poetry Recital in his 1st Grade Class. He did SOOOOOOO well!

Watching Snellville Days Parade. I won't bore you with actual parade pictures, but it was fun.

Kevin lost tooth #5!

Sprinklers!!!

Ping Pong!

Tree Climbing!

Play-Doh (outside, cause Mommy won't allow it inside!)

If Kevin vacuums for me, he likes to drown out the noise with Clayton's garage earmuffs. Deep down inside he's still that same little boy that cried when people sang Happy Birthday too loud! :)

Snacking at a park/playground near home.
