Darcy's Field Trip

Darcy's preschool class took a field trip to Washington Farms, which has a strawberry patch. Chloe and I tagged along and we all had a wonderful time!
We got to go on a hayride! Funny how going 2 mph on a tractor full of hay can be exciting!
Home with Darcy's box of strawberries. She did such a good job of finding the best ones! Ready to wash them and then...

EAT THEM!!!! YUMMY! THANKS DARCY!

Easter Weekend

Chloe wearing some cool bunny glasses we have, but upside down!

A wonderful couple from church has a lot of kids and families over every year for an Easter egg hunt on their land (which includes a beautiful lake!) This was Chloe's first year of hunting for eggs, and she loved it. And we got to have Grandma Stenner come with us!

This is Easter Eve. The kids hung up little bags I had gotten for them, and Darcy and Kevin wrote letters to the Easter bunny. They each got a stuffed animal in their bags and a pawprint back on their letters. We figured the Easter bunny must not be able to write, so that's why he/she just left a pawprint. :)

Kelly at almost 20 weeks, the day before finding out our baby is a boy!!

Easter! (Jill, I know you'll appreciate that I dressed the girls alike!!)

Making the famous "Easter Bunny Salad!"

Playing outside after dinner to work off the ham, cheddar potatoes, green beans and rolls!

Introducing Grandpa to the movie Stuart Little.

CHEESECAKE!!! (First time Kelly ever made it...not bad, if I do say so myself!)

Close up of the cheesecake. Try not to drool on your keyboard! :)

LOVED having Grandma and Grandpa Stenner with us!

Mom brought Easter books for all the kids! Thanks Grandma!

Spring Break 2009

The kids (especially Kevin) were thrilled to have a week off of school! We didn't travel this year, but had a lot of fun at home. Grandma Stenner came to visit near the end of Spring Break and stayed for almost a week...hooray!
Outside time: Darcy is learning to jump rope, and Kevin is learning how to play football, but still takes time to climb trees!

Chloe was so happy to have her brother and sister home to play with all week! She definitely took advantage of it, and was constantly playing with one or both of them!

We had a family game night where we all made some dessert together, and then enjoyed it by the fire while playing board games and card games. A fire, during Spring Break, you ask? Yes, it was freezing the first part of the week and we even had snow flurries one day. Crazy weather!

My little reader. He holds the book in a strange way, but he looks cute doing it!

One day a very nice woman from church invited us and another family over to dye Easter eggs. Her 4 kids are all grown and she misses the fun of coloring eggs! So, with our 6 kids combined, I think we gave her a good time! And a big THANKS to Uncle Nathan for all the tie-dye shirts. Perfect for coloring Easter eggs!
