Back to School

Kevin got a new backpack this year...no more Bob the Builder. He's a big First Grader now!

We decided to have one last Day 'O' Fun before school started. So we used the free Six Flags ticket that Kevin earned at school last year for reading, and the free ticket that Kelly got for buying string cheese, and we spent as little money as possible to have our fun day. :) We had fun for the most part. One very long line about did the kids in, but they were troopers and the roller coaster made the long wait worth it!

More summer activities.

Happy 4th of July!!

Getting every single toy out of its place and taking it somewhere else in the house. They did this a lot this summer!

The Atlanta Zoo...the picture of Kevin and Chloe on a train ride through the zoo cracks me up. She was really trying to smile big!

Kevin and Darcy at the Duluth Fountains. They had fun splashing and getting wet. Kevin was a little more courageous than Darcy and got soaked. Darcy had more fun sitting back and watching.

Chloe started walking about a week after her birthday. She loves being such a big girl.

I found Darcy asleep like this one afternoon. Rare for my children to fall asleep anywhere but bed!

Outside fun. Daddy and Kevin found lots of bugs with Kevin's new toy that he bought with his own money. It's a bug vacuum and habitat. Darcy opted to ride her bike instead of messing with the bug hunt!

It's her party...she can cry if she wants to. And she did.

Mommy let Chloe have her first taste of ice cream at a restaurant where they sang Happy Birthday to her. She didn't like it. Too cold. Thanks to Grandma Stenner for catching this moment so perfectly!
